Inch sizes: Nominal pipe sizes are traditional designations, not direct conversions of the outside diameter. A 1″ pipe has a 33.7 mm outside diameter; one inch as a unit of length equals 25.4 mm.
Metric tubes: “—” means that no nominal pipe size from the inch series used here is assigned to this outside diameter. The millimetre dimensions apply; for example, a 38 mm tube is not a 1½″ pipe (48.3 mm).
Weight information: Theoretical weights per metre calculated from outside diameter and wall thickness using an assumed density of 7.90 kg/dm³. Manufacturing tolerances may cause variations.
